ABOUT ME

​

Lucia Fabová studied painting at the Academy of Arts in Banská Bystrica in the studio of contemporary painting with prof. František Hodonský. As part of the study  she later completed several internships abroad. Study stay in southern Italy at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Lecce in the painting studio (Prof. Franco Contini) and in the studio of experimental graphics (Prof. Glauco Lendaro), where she also won the prize of this academy for graphics of the year (La signora tutta topa - „Ms.  up without ”). Already during her studies she started exhibiting and successfully presented abroad  (Russia, Spain, Italy, Bulgaria, ..).

The author's work  currently defined by experimental monotype, organic painting - relax painting and relaxed composition. Dominant  the motive of interest is man  (human body, mind, emotions, spiritual plane, transcendental plane). She gradually abstracted the visual content from realistic tendencies of corporeality to the problems of its mental contexts.  It replaces the image of man and the reactions associated with it  gestural play with draperies (LIVE MASS painting series).

  "I perceive man as living matter, which is shaped by ideas and attitudes. It is no longer just a man and his physical body, but a man as a cluster of energy that is formed under the influence of social pressure, ideas, lifestyle or mental maturity. "

Fine handwriting with emphasis on detail and feminine prowess of technical design,  adds  large-scale paintings  distinctive character. The topic is authentically based on diary records of life experiences.

"I still want to experience the feeling of discovery that my painting experiment  brings. I believe that the viewer will experience a similar emotion by watching this play on the screen. "
